Description
Robert Half's Desktop Support Technician role is for someone with a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. You will have the opportunity to work with a company in the Healthcare/NHS industry in this role. You will thrive in this position if you consider yourself to be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for working in an innovative environment. Located in the Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary in nature.
100% ONSITE IN BETHLEHEM, PA
MUST BE COVID VACCINATED
Your responsibilities:
- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
- Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Settle computer problems, and offer suggestions on appropriate action/solutions
Requirements
- Desktop support or related experience
- Knowledgeable when it comes to writing reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 11
- Microsoft Office 365 experience
- Expertise in MS Windows 10
- Strong familiarity with Active Directory
- Microsoft 365 Enterprise experience
