JOB TITLE: Lead Software Engineering
JOB LOCATION: 3400 W. Plano Pkwy, Plano TX 75075
DUTIES: Design, code, test, debug, and document new, and existing components to ensure that software meets business quality, and operational needs. Develop, analyze, split, and realize implementation of enablers. Establish critical NFRs at the solution level and participate in the definition of others. Collaborate with peer organizations, and dev ops to support organizations on technical issues, and provide guidance. Interpret, and translate business needs to technical requirements, and accurate estimates. Evaluate, and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance. Create, and execute automated test plans, and strategies utilizing business requirements. Validate test environments, test data, and test results. Execute on scalability, security and availability of all applications and processes. Build web applications Java-based high-volume/high-transaction e-commerce applications, using Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful Services implementation, and Full stack development. Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software. Contribute to technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resource, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic goals and requirements. Utilize Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Spring Cloud config, Cassandra, Restful Web Services, Docker, and Kubernetes. Utilize Junit, Mockito, Spock, SoapUI, and Postman. Utilize Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins. SQL and NoSQL database systems. Apply advanced knowledge in agile development practices including unit tests and code reviews.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Applied Computer Science and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting new, and existing components to ensure that software meets business quality, and operational needs; interpreting and translating business needs to technical requirements, and accurate estimates; evaluating and recommending tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance; creating and executing automated test plans, and strategies utilizing business requirements; validating test environments, test data, and test results; building web applications Java-based high-volume/high-transaction e-commerce applications, using Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, RESTful Services implementation, and Full stack development; utilizing Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, Spring Cloud config, Cassandra, Restful Web Services, Docker, and Kubernetes; utilizing Junit, Mockito, Spock, SoapUI, and Postman; utilizing Maven, GitHub, and Jenkins.
