Description:
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer to ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of client's Fulfillment Technology solutions supporting our omni-channel strategy. In this role, you will collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient production systems. You will troubleshoot production issues using monitoring, logging, alerting, automation, and incident management tools, while driving continuous improvement in DevOps practices such as CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud computing.
This position requires strong expertise in software engineering, system administration, networking, and cloud technologies, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Description:

This position requires strong expertise in software engineering, system administration, networking, and cloud technologies, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years in Cloud SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure or related fields
- Experience with databases, web applications, microservices, event-driven systems, messaging, REST APIs, cloud platforms, observability, and containerization
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Cassandra, SQL Server
- Proficiency in Python / Shell scripting
- 1+ year managing observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, ELK, PagerDuty, Datadog, Azure Monitor, Grafana)
- Hands-on experience with GitActions for CI/CD automation
- Strong knowledge of Linux architecture, security, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production operations
- Experience working in Agile environments and with global teams
- Strategic thinking and ability to contribute at a high level
- Familiarity with eCommerce, Fulfillment, or Retail Technology solutions
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years designing or working on high-volume eCommerce applications
- 2+ years configuring and managing cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with Apache Kafka, Azure Cosmos DB, Apache Cassandra, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Nginx, HAProxy, Squid
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, TeamCity)
- Proficiency in remote management solutions like RoyalTS
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, observability, and support teams to resolve issues impacting customer pickup and delivery
- Drive root-cause analysis for critical incidents and approve solutions
- Lead major incident calls and provide timely updates to stakeholders
- Improve build environments for reliability and speed
- Increase automation for efficiency and quality
- Ensure system observability and traceability
- Build logging, monitoring, and alerting systems for cloud, on-prem, and store environments
- Create clear designs, playbooks, and documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance
