About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AS400 / RPG Developer with strong expertise in Movex (M3) applications, RPG programming, and integration with modern technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting ERP applications on the IBM i (AS400 / iSeries) platform, along with the ability to integrate systems using .NET servers or Java-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG (RPGLE, CL, SQLRPG) on the AS400 platform.
  • Customize and support Movex (M3) ERP modules, including development and troubleshooting.
  • Work on integration projects involving .NET integration server or Java-based applications to connect legacy systems with modern platforms.
  • Perform system analysis, debugging, and performance tuning of AS400-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, business analysts, infrastructure, and integration teams).
  • Provide production support, issue resolution, and implement system enhancements.
  • Document technical specifications, processes, and coding standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with AS400 / IBM iSeries environment.
  • Proficiency in RPG, RPGLE, CL, SQLRPG, and DB2/400.
  • Experience in Movex (M3) ERP development and customization.
  • Knowledge of integration techniques with .NET servers or Java-based applications.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of ERP processes (finance, supply chain, manufacturing preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience in upgrading or migrating legacy RPG systems to modern platforms.
  • Exposure to API / Web services integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Azure / Cloud integration (optional).

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications in RPG / AS400 / ERP (preferred but not mandatory).
