Senior Developer Python/Cloud/SWIFT

Hope you're doing well. I m looking for a Senior Developer contract opportunity with one of our investment firm clients.

Here are the key details:

• Location: New York City Hybrid (4 days/week onsite)
• Type: Contract 6-12 months
• Client: Investment company
• Relocation: Local candidates only no relocation considered
• Start: ASAP

Ideal Candidate Skills:

• Strong hands-on coding with Python, C#, SQL
• Cloud experience with AWS and Azure
• Experience with system integrations, data analysis, and project ownership
• Comfortable supporting production systems and collaborating on architecture/infrastructure strategy
  
  Qualifications:
  Strong hands-on coding skills.
  Must have technical skills; Python, C#, Bash, Batch, Powershell, HTML, SQL
  Extensive Cloud Experience: AWS and Azure
  Proficiency with Dev and Dev Ops tooling: Git, Github, Azuve DevOps, CI/CD, Bicep
  Windows and Linux Experience (including WSL)
  Experience with SWIFT protocol
  Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  Experience with File Transfer Protocols: SFTP, SSH, FTPS, FTP, NFS

  Responsibilities:
  Oversight of status reporting, issue resolution, and escalation of systems issues and delays, communication to management and stakeholders
  Ownership in designing, building, implementing and supporting projects
  Work with other developers on architecture and infrastructure strategy and roadmap
  Act as the first line of support for system issues and work with vendor/internal technical resources to triage and fix bugs and system outages.
  Build and troubleshoot proprietary vendor applications
  Provide on-call support for critical production systems
  Act as data steward, synthesizing data and connecting dots to provide context and insight and exploring opportunities to enhance data sourcing and data governance
  Qualifications:
  Experience in a hands-on role with a Private Credit firm or other Financial Services organization.
  Superior problem-solving skills with a process-oriented mindset and the ability to deliver well-structured analyses and clearly present findings
  Superior organizational skills; ability to multi-task and flex with changing priorities
  Ability to prioritize, take full ownership and responsibility of various tasks without losing attention to detail.
  Solid business and data analysis skills; working knowledge of debt and finance operations a strong plus
