We're hiring a hands-on Data Governance Engineer to implement and scale policies, standards, and frameworks across our enterprise data, Tableau ecosystem, and internal AI-powered analytics solutions - including those powered by large language models (LLMs).
This is a technical individual contributor role. The ideal candidate is a builder who thrives on developing practical governance solutions and administering BI platforms that drive adoption, reliability, and trust.

You will:
- Design and implement governance frameworks focused on metadata, data quality, access controls, and lineage.
- Serve as Tableau administrator: manage users, roles, extracts, content standards, and performance.
- Define and enforce best practices for dashboard certification, documentation, and lifecycle management.
- Support responsible AI initiatives by applying governance to LLM-based analytics tools, including prompt auditing and access governance.
- Collaborate with data platform, engineering, analytics, and legal teams to embed governance into technical and business workflows.
- Maintain accurate governance documentation and deliver education and tooling that improve adoption and compliance.
Your team will:
Work cross-functionally with data platform & engineering, analytics, legal, and business teams to ensure governance is embedded in every layer of our data and analytics stack. You'll help create a culture of responsible data and AI use-built on trust, transparency, and hands-on execution.
About you:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in data/BI governance or analytics/data engineering roles.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data environments, preferably BigQuery.
- Proficiency in Tableau administration, including permissioning, extract scheduling, and server health monitoring.
- Familiar with data modeling tools (e.g., dbt) and data cataloging/lineage platforms like Atlan or Collibra.
- Experience working with or governing LLMs or AI-powered analytics platforms.
- Strong problem-solving and automation mindset - you implement governance through tools, code, and infrastructure.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Atlan, Collibra, or similar governance platforms.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering or usage monitoring for LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini).
- Proficiency in Python or scripting tools for governance automation.
