Our company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Permanent Project Engineer to join our Commercial Healthcare Construction division. This role is ideal for a driven individual with a strong background in project engineering, particularly in the commercial and healthcare construction sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering aspects of our healthcare construction projects, ensuring that every project is executed successfully and meets all quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all engineering aspects of our healthcare construction projects, ensuring that every project is executed successfully and meets all quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all engineering aspects of our healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with project management teams to determine project specifications and timelines.
- Develop and implement project schedules and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other project team members to ensure all engineering aspects of the project are integrated smoothly.
- Review and approve project designs and drawings, ensuring they meet all necessary codes and quality standards.
- Identify and resolve any potential engineering issues or challenges that may arise during the project.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site to ensure the wellbeing of all workers.
- Continuously seek ways to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer, preferably in Commercial Healthcare Construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse project teams.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and guiding team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A valid professional engineer's license is preferred.
