Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an accomplished and visionary Software Development Director to lead the development and operational strategy for a new, business-critical service-Assurance Service. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of innovative cloud-based solutions focused on ensuring service reliability, compliance, and customer trust at global scale. Your leadership will empower a high-performing team to consistently deliver on ambitious objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. This hybrid role is based in either Seattle or Santa Clara, with regular in-office collaboration expected.
As the Director for Assurance Service, you will drive the product and engineering vision and take ownership of the full development lifecycle. You will collaborate with product management, security, and compliance stakeholders to guarantee that the new service meets the evolving needs of enterprise customers and aligns with OCI's reliability and regulatory standards. You will actively mentor and develop talent, championing a culture that values innovation, accountability, and customer-centricity.
In addition to setting the technical and organizational direction, you will establish and enforce robust performance metrics and best practices. You will enable your team to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions, while maintaining a relentless focus on operational excellence and security best practices. Your decisions and leadership will directly influence OCI's reputation for trust and reliability, playing a vital role in driving cloud adoption and customer success.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $122,500 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
