Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Release Manager & Change Management Specialist to lead and coordinate the release lifecycle and manage IT change control processes. The ideal candidate will have experience managing software releases across multiple environments, ensuring minimal disruption to services, and aligning with ITIL best practices.


Key Responsibilities:

<>Release Management:</>
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Work closely with development, QA, DevOps, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments.

  • Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.

  • Maintain the release calendar and communicate release plans to stakeholders.

  • Conduct release readiness reviews and ensure all documentation and approvals are in place.

  • Ensure successful deployment of releases and monitor post-release stability.

<>Change Management:</>
  • Implement and enforce ITIL-based Change Management processes.

  • Review and approve change requests (RFCs), ensuring completeness and risk assessment.

  • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and maintain change records.

  • Track and report change metrics such as success rate, failed changes, and incidents caused by changes.

  • Ensure changes align with compliance, audit, and governance standards.

  • Educate stakeholders and teams on change management policies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Release Manager and/or Change Manager in enterprise IT environments.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

  • Proficient in ITIL Change Management principles; ITIL certification is a plus.

  • Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or Jira Service Management.

  • Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
