Role Overview
The System Integration Engineer – Level II will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, secure, and reusable Salesforce platform solutions across multiple government agencies. This role focuses on enterprise architecture, cross-agency integrations, and alignment with Salesforce CoE standards while enabling case management, citizen engagement, and AI-driven analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end Salesforce architecture including business processes, integrations, data, security, and platform components
- Design multi-cloud Salesforce solutions leveraging:
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- OmniStudio
- Data Cloud
- MuleSoft
- Agentforce
- Tableau
- Translate business strategies and agency needs into standardized, reusable Salesforce solutions
- Define system boundaries, architectural guardrails, data models, integration patterns, and environment strategies
- Extend Public Sector Salesforce data models to meet agency-specific requirements
- Architect reusable intake, engagement, and omni-channel solution patterns for multi-agency adoption
- Ensure agency use cases (e.g., child welfare, licensing, investigations) align with standardized Salesforce accelerators instead of custom silos
- Design and manage data flows and cross-agency analytics
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to solution delivery teams
Mandatory Qualifications
- Level II: More than 7 years of experience working on complex IT projects
- Minimum 2 years in a leadership role as a System Integration Engineer
- More than 7 years of Salesforce architecture and solution design experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and CRM
Desirable Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MuleSoft
- 2+ years of experience designing large multi-org or multi-tenant Salesforce solutions
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience with Salesforce Shield, encryption, and platform security
- 1+ year of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
