Position: Project Manager

Location: Farmers Branch, TX 75244

Duration: 06+ Months (with possibilities of extension)

Shift: Flexible

Pay rate : $42/hr on W2

Position Summary:

  • The Technical Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects. This role requires an understanding of project management methodologies, Workday, and effective communication skills to coordinate between cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with stakeholders engaged and notified while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs), and stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Team Coordination and Leadership:
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including Workday technical staff, HR Information Technology team(s), business stakeholders and SMEs, and other technical staff.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, provide clear direction, and ensure effective communication.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and escalate any conflicts or issues that arise.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Draft pre-read, post-read, and general meeting notes and share with stakeholders & meeting attendees in a timely manner.

Required and Preferred:

  • Keen attention to detail
  • Understanding of general business processes and HR/IT Technology
  • Ability to maintain and manage HR and PII data
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and escalate when necessary
  • Knowledgeable with Workday, GoogleSuite, Jira or similar software
  • Highly proficient communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Comfortable with presenting and working with multiple levels of leadership.
  • Agile/Scrum practices experience preferred
