Job title: Production/Operations Support Analyst (JAVA)
Location: Austin, TX (REMOTE)
Duration: 3+ Months (Extendable)

Evaluate failures, bugs, systemic problems, and applications and report on necessary steps. Consider site-specific information like application, environment and user requirements to appropriately resolve problems. Product Support Analyst common tasks include: troubleshoot, diagnose and repair product and service concerns; contribute to and use knowledge base; communicate ongoing problems and fixes internally and with customers; report on product and service problems; and guide customers on product features, product selection and configuration and implementation.
Required skills:
- 8 years of Progressively responsible experience performing systems analysis and support on business applications software.
- 4 years of Experience in analysis and application support of multi-tier applications in Java/J2EE technology (Java design patterns, MVC, JSP, Javabeans, Servlets, etc), Spring/Springboot framework, Spring Batch, REST based Microservices.
- 4 years Working knowledge of SOA based architecture, XML, HTML, WSDL, Javascript, AJAX, JSP, JQuery, NodesJS.
- 4 years of Experience in writing software support documentation, including designs, mockups, workflows, test cases to ensure functional and optimized performance, knowledge transfer documents, etc.
- 4 years Education - Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major in computer science, computer information systems, management information systems, or a related field.
- 3 years of Advanced scripting skills.
- 3 years of Experience in technical report writing and documentation specifications.
Preferred skills:
- 4 years of Experience in Confluence, JAMA.
- 4 years of Agile Management Software Development with Test Driven Development, Iterative development, Scrum pair and other agile practices and methodologies.
- 3 years of Experience working with DB2 databases.
- 3 years of Experience in working with Python scripts.
- 3 years of Experience supporting BIRT reports.
- 3 years of Experience in using IDE like Eclipse , Meeclipse, STS for debugging and using java coding standards from the beginning of development.
- 2 years of Texas State Agency developer experience, preferably TxDMV.
