We are seeking an experienced Peoplesoft Developer to join a dedicated project team supporting a PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 upgrade for our client. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in PeopleSoft development and integrations, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative and remote project environment.
Role Overview:
As an ERP Developer III, you will be responsible for analyzing, modifying, testing, and troubleshooting system code to meet business requirements. You will also develop technical design documentation and support UI, reporting, and interface functionalities. This role requires flexibility to work off-hours during key project phases and strong collaboration skills in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Develop and maintain PeopleSoft components using PeopleCode, Application Engine, and related tools.
Modify and support COBOL and SQR programs.
Build and troubleshoot integrations using Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
Develop advanced SQL and PL/SQL queries and procedures.
Write and execute shell scripts in RHEL OS.
Create and maintain BI Publisher reports and PS Queries.
Implement and support AWE (Approval Workflow Engine).
Use SharePoint for documentation and tracking.
Work closely with cross-functional teams using Microsoft Office 365 tools in a remote environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2
8+ years of development experience with:
PeopleCode & Application Packages
Application Engine, COBOL, and SQR
Integration Broker (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
Advanced SQL and PL/SQL
Shell scripting on RHEL OS
Oracle Database 19g
BI Publisher and PS Queries
AWE framework
Technical documentation for functional designs
SharePoint Lists
5+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio)
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with Texas CPA CAPPS Financials (PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 State Baseline)
Experience with PeopleSoft modules: GL, AP, PO, ePro, SCM, and SS
Prior experience with CAPPS implementation for the State of Texas
Exposure to Agile development, specifically the Scrum framework
- Experience using Jira for project tracking
