Title: Software Developer (Algo Trading)
Location: NYC, NY (Onsite)

Mode: Longterm Contract

Role Overview: We're actively looking for a skilled Java or .NET Developer to join our client for a high-impact role focused on algorithmic trading applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in algorithms, real-time data processing, and experience building or enhancing trading platforms.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Solid hands-on experience in Java or .NET development.
  • Proven expertise in algorithms, data structures, and high-performance systems.
  • Experience with electronic trading, broker market integration, or financial data platforms is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with market protocols, real-time quoting, and FIX-based systems preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test new features and enhancements to the UST Algo trading system.
  • Integrate UST Algo with additional broker markets including Fenics and DealerWeb.
  • Expand and improve quoting capabilities across D2C platforms such as Tradeweb, Bloomberg, and MarketAxess.
  • Collaborate with traders, quants, and back-end engineers to build reliable, low-latency solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability in a production trading environment.
