Overview
We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a highly technical team dedicated to maintaining the reliability, scalability, and operational integrity of large-scale software systems. In this hands-on role, you'll play a key part in managing infrastructure behind complex deployments-delivering tangible value through robust backend systems rather than direct customer interaction.
This role is forward-deployed, meaning you'll work closely with infrastructure and platform engineers to support real-world systems. While other teams focus on application-level functionality, you'll work across lower-level layers-on everything from cloud architecture to on-premises environments-ensuring platforms remain resilient and performant.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of critical systems, including observability (monitoring, alerting), configuration lifecycle, and system updates
Roll out new software products across production environments and manage the transition to updated infrastructure stacks
Investigate and resolve infrastructure issues, optimizing system performance and ensuring long-term stability
Automate routine operational processes and refine existing workflows to reduce manual overhead
Act as an escalation point for technical production issues, providing rapid diagnostics and resolution
Qualifications
Hands-on experience with containers, orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker), and cloud services such as AWS or Azure
Solid understanding of on-prem infrastructure, Linux administration, and debugging distributed systems
Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new tools and environments-we value adaptability and learning agility over deep specialization
A proactive approach to infrastructure reliability, emphasizing automation, ownership, and system health
