Job Title: Capital Markets Project Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC | Hybrid (3x/week) | Uptown
Contract Length: 6+ months (extendable up to 24 months)
Pay Range: $58-63/hr
Top Requirements:
5+ years in project/change management, with experience in Agile methodologies and tools (Jira) Proficiency in PowerPoint, creating presentations, and strong communication skills Banking industry experience, with a focus on capital markets (front office/trading focus, not middle office or payments) Experience managing workstreams, translating strategies into project plans, and ensuring regulatory compliance Ability to collaborate with trading desks, technology teams, and stakeholders, maintaining risk logs and addressing issues
Plusses:
SharePoint and PowerBI familiarity Previous experience at Wells Fargo or similar financial institutions, demonstrating true project management (not SME or consultant roles) Experience with Jira, RAID logs, project plans, Excel, and risk mitigation Strong communication skills for stakeholder and tech interactions Tech-savvy with strategic business insight and experience supporting regulatory capital programs

The role requires managing multiple workstreams, collaborating with senior leadership, technology teams, and trading desks. The manager will translate strategies into Jira, develop project plans, track progress, and support a regulatory capital program, acting as a liaison for cross-team communication and risk mitigation. The position demands a proactive doer with strong communication skills in a complex environment.
