Job Title: IT Consultant 1 PeopleSoft Financial Management Specialist

Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite required)

Engagement Type: Contract (Full-Time, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week)

Job Description:

The Client is seeking an experienced IT Consultant 1 to serve as a PeopleSoft Financial Management and Product Specialist. The selected candidate will collaborate with business teams and managed services vendors to support day-to-day PeopleSoft Financial operations, optimize business processes, and drive system improvements within the Clients ERP environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as SME for PeopleSoft Financials 9.x including AP, AR, Asset Management, Billing, GL, Budgeting, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, T&E, Commitment Control, and Self-Service.
  • Support daily operations and projects related to the ERP FIN application.
  • Collaborate with MSPs to monitor SLA performance and enhance service delivery.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend IT-based enhancements.
  • Act as liaison between stakeholders, MSPs, and internal teams to address production issues and enhancement requests.
  • Review and develop business requirement documents and validate enhancement estimates and deliverables.
  • Track and communicate SFTP activity and interface updates to FIN SFTP account owners.
  • Support ERP project testing efforts, progress tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Promote continuous service improvement for operational processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PeopleSoft ERP operations and product support.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financial Management 9.x modules.
  • Experience with application management/outsourcing, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Visio).
  • Strong experience in large/complex organizations.

Highly Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the public sector.
  • Worked with or within a Tier-One System Integrator for PeopleSoft/Oracle services.
  • PeopleSoft upgrade, patch, or image deployment experience.
  • Certifications: PMP, ITIL, PeopleSoft.
  • Familiarity with SQL-based databases like SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Bachelor's Degree (4 years) or higher.
