Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of our growing network infrastructure.
Position Summary:As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in architecting and maintaining a highly available, secure, and scalable enterprise network. You will be responsible for leading network projects, mentoring junior engineers, and working collaboratively with security and cloud teams.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, and cloud-based network infrastructures.

Manage and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues using tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, or NetFlow.

Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures.

Ensure high levels of network security through best practices, firewall policy management, and threat mitigation.

Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams on integration and support projects.

Support disaster recovery and business continuity plans for network infrastructure.

Lead network-related audits, compliance efforts, and capacity planning.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

6+ years of experience in network engineering roles, including hands-on experience with enterprise-scale networks.

Strong expertise in network protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, STP, VLANs, etc.).

Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Palo Alto devices.

Deep understanding of network security concepts, IDS/IPS systems, and firewalls.

Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects and mentor junior team members.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or PCNSE.

Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Python, or Terraform for networking).

Exposure to SD-WAN and hybrid networking solutions.
