We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and revising CNC programs, using their technical expertise to optimize machine operations and improve manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

As a CNC Programmer, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and writing precise CNC programs to control machining or processing of metal parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems.
2. Analyzing job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
3. Determining the sequence of machine operations and selecting the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into desired shapes.
4. Revising programs and documentation based on feedback from production teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
5. Testing new programs to ensure that machinery will function properly and that the output meets specifications.
6. Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to ensure the most efficient methods are used for manufacturing.
7. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CNC programming.
8. Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Job Details

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the CNC Programmer role should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a CNC programming role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in process design, blueprint reading, and machine shop operations.
3. Extensive knowledge of CNC machine operation and the ability to optimize machine performance.
4. Proficiency in using CAD/CAM software to design and visualize machining tasks.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and precision.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and explain complex technical concepts.
7. A strong understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
8. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
9. A degree in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
