GTIN Implementation Consultant (Retail Supply Chain)
Candidates from Nashville, TN (Preferred) or 1 full week InOffice per month (Non-Negotiable)
Role Overview
We are hiring a GTIN Implementation Consultant to drive the end-to-end integration of Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) standards across retail supply chain systems. This consultant will act as the bridge between Business and IT, ensuring flawless execution of GTIN use cases in Order Management, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Master Data Management (MDM) and related retail platforms.
Must-Have Skills
Only submit candidates who meet ALL of the following:
- Proven hands-on experience in retail supply chain systems (Order Management, WMS, MDM candidate must have worked in at least two of these).
- Strong working knowledge of GTIN standards (UPC, EAN, etc.) and proven experience implementing GTIN in retail or consumer goods environment.
- Experience in GTIN data governance, validation and traceability across supply chain workflows.
- Ability to translate business use cases into technical design/configurations for GTIN enablement.
- Strong communication skills with business stakeholders, IT architects and vendors.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with integration frameworks, data modeling and enterprise architecture.
- Prior experience in change management and training end-users during supply chain system transformations.
- Experience partnering with solution architects and third-party vendors for GTIN compatibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and document GTIN use cases and system requirements across Order Management, WMS and MDM.
- Assess existing system capabilities and identify GTIN gaps.
- Lead GTIN configuration and integration across supply chain workflows.
- Ensure GTIN compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support data governance initiatives to maintain consistency and accuracy.
- Provide training and adoption support for both business and technical teams.
