Cycle3 IT Staffing is seeking a Principal Data Engineer for a full time role located in Tulsa Oklahoma.


This is NOT a remote role. Candidates must either be located in Tulsa Oklahoma or be willing to move there.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Principal Data Engineer to join our development team. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using C# and the .NET framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET framework.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability.

Experience/Qualifications:

Visual Studio, WPF, Winforms.
Working in the source control environment, such as Git, SVN, VSTS / Azure DevOps.
Clearly communicate conversion timelines, deliverables, and exceptions to clients and management verbally and in email correspondence.
Prior experience in data analysis, data mapping, data conversion.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a strong focus on C# and .NET development.
Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Solid understanding of the .NET framework, including ASP.NET for web development.
Experience with database integration using Entity Framework, ADO.NET, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies is desirable.

Data manipulation in:
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, Btrieve, Pervasive PSQL.
Sybase SQL Anywhere, MySQL, FoxPro, DBISAM, and various other types of databases as part of the analysis, data mapping, and data conversion process.

Must understand the logic behind data, including where it came from, what it means, and the data s end purpose for successful migration/conversion to a different format. Problem-solving skills are also important. Prior experience with medical software is a plus.
