Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical and Control Engineer to design, develop, and implement electrical control systems for advanced mechanical and thermal systems. This role requires expertise in circuit design, PLC/HMI programming, instrumentation integration, and system-level troubleshooting to support high-reliability industrial and technology applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement control logic using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms.
  • Develop and optimize control algorithms for thermal and fluid systems (e.g., pumps, compressors, fans, valves).
  • Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and single-line drawings.
  • Select and specify electrical components including relays, contactors, VFDs, sensors, and power supplies.
  • Program PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff, Schneider) and configure corresponding HMIs.
  • Integrate a variety of instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, etc.).
  • Develop control logic test plans and execute FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/control issues during commissioning and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (NEC, UL, IEC, CE).
  • Participate in electrical safety reviews and perform risk assessments.
  • Prepare documentation: I/O lists, BOMs, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and maintenance guides.
  • Provide technical support to cross-functional teams including mechanical, software, and operations.
  • Contribute to new product development involving smart controls, remote monitoring, or energy optimization.
  • Collaborate with hardware/software teams in embedded control system development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial electrical design and control system development.
  • Proficient in PLC/HMI programming and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, BACnet, CAN).
  • Experience with ECAD tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
  • Understanding of thermal/fluid systems, energy management, or HVAC systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UL508A panel design and electrical safety standards preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with NI LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, or embedded microcontroller programming.
  • Knowledge of IIoT integration and remote diagnostics systems.
  • Hands-on expertise in VFD tuning, actuator control, and multi-pump systems
