Job Description:

In this role you will work as a team member in a US Army R&D organization specializing in air- and ground-based radar systems. You'll interface directly with scientists and engineers to advance the state of technology of modern radasr that are used for force protection, fire control, reconnaissance, and surveillance.

The positions offers hands-on access to cutting edge analysis, modeling, and simulation technologies in a great work culture. Your responsibilities will vary and may include working on items such as data analysis, algorithm development, modeling and simulation, or software development. You'll be reporting to a government engineering team lead and will be working alongside government civilians and other contractor personnel.

Location: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (onsite).

Here's what we're looking for:

Required Qualifications

  • Recent graduate (wihtin one year) of an ABET-accredited institution

  • Eligibility for a government security clearance which requires proof of ship

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics

  • Classroom work in electromagnetics, signal/data processing, and radio frequency (RF) systems

  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.5/4.0

Desired qualifications

  • Class project or capstone work involving electronics, preferably RF

  • Interest in radar technologies

  • Interest in learning and growing outside core job functions

  • Ability to learn quickly in a highly dynamic work environment

  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience with Matlab and C++

  • Experience with machine learning/artificial intelligence

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
