Test Automation Engineer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks that ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation for web and API testing, with a focus on scalability and efficiency. Mobile testing experience is a plus but not required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and API applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Contribute to improving automation processes, tools, and best practices.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar).
  • Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Solid understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with mobile testing (Appium or similar).
  • Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments.
