Position Title: Control Engineer
Location: Alpharetta, GA

Job Description:
Education & Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical preferred), Computer Science, or a related field.
Alternative: A 2-year degree with 4+ years of relevant experience will be considered.
Experience Level: 0-2 years of experience; relevant internships will be counted.
Disqualifier: Candidates with a Master's degree or higher are explicitly not being considered for this entry-level role.

Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HMI systems. Your typical tasks will include:
Design & Development: Designing, writing, converting, and implementing software for generator control switchgear HMI applications.
Hardware Configuration: Configuring, programming, and testing HMI hardware.
Collaboration & Validation: Working with Power System Engineers to test and validate HMI programming.
Support: Troubleshooting and providing remote support for HMI issues in the field and during installation.
Project Execution: Assisting in following an electrical design schedule to meet overall project deadlines.
Team & Work Environment
Team Structure: You will report to an HMI Manager and join a team of 4 other engineers (2 Senior, 2 Engineers).
Daily Interaction: You will work closely with the HMI team and collaborate extensively with the Power System Engineering team for testing and validation.
Work Setting: The role involves a mix of office work, lab testing, and time on the manufacturing floor.
