Job Details
A global enterprise consulting organization is seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong networking foundation and deep experience in cloud infrastructure to join a mission-critical engineering team focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performance deployment environments. This role is ideal for engineers with both a deep understanding of OSI networking (layers 1-7) - especially layer 7 (application) - and hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and container orchestration.
The DevOps Engineer will support the design, automation, and optimization of web application architectures deployed across AWS or Azure environments. The role involves maintaining CI/CD pipelines, writing infrastructure code with Terraform, automating configuration management with Ansible, and deploying containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Contribute to infrastructure monitoring and alerting strategies to ensure system health and reliability
Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Strong background in network engineering, with a deep understanding of the OSI model (layers 1-7), especially layer 7 (HTTP/S, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure (multi-cloud experience a plus)
- Proficient in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure and configuration management
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- Proven success supporting and deploying web application architectures
- Familiarity with performance tuning, load balancing, and high availability solutions
- Proficient with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
