We're looking for a Software Development Manager with a strong technical foundation to lead a team of developers and oversee the delivery of modern web applications. While this role is not hands-on with code, prior experience as a developer is highly preferred to provide meaningful technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers working with modern web technologies, including APIs, microservices, and cloud deployments.
- Guide architectural decisions and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate development time estimates with accuracy and discern when estimates may be overly conservative or misaligned.
- Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize projects and manage delivery timelines.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Min 5 years of experience with a solid technical background, ideally with previous hands-on development experience.
- Experience leading software development teams and delivering complex projects.
- Strong judgment around technical trade-offs, time estimation, and team capacity.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
