Clinical Engineering Technician - Medical Device Specialist

We're looking for a skilled and passionate Clinical Engineering Technician to ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of sophisticated medical equipment. In this role, you'll not only troubleshoot and repair devices but also mentor others and collaborate with clinical teams to improve workflows and patient care.

What You'll Do

  • Inspect, test, and repair advanced medical equipment to meet safety and performance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve device systems and enhance the user experience.
  • Calibrate and troubleshoot equipment using manufacturer guidelines and precision tools.
  • Support clinical staff with training and educational resources on medical devices.
  • Develop best practices for workflows and collaborative processes.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for vendors during device implementation or refresh projects.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and maintain expert knowledge of medical device standards.

What We're Looking For

    • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree, military training, or High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
    • Experience: 5-7 years working with patient care equipment, requiring deep knowledge of sophisticated medical devices.
    • Skills: Troubleshooting, inspection, repair, calibration, workflow optimization, vendor coordination.

This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
