Senior Kony Developer

Job Overview:

The Client is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Kony Developer to support a leading client in the banking domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Kony (now Temenos Quantum) platform, particularly Kony Visualizer and MobileFabric, and a strong background in enterprise mobile application development. A thorough understanding of backend integration and experience working in regulated industries such as finance or banking is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of sophisticated mobile applications using Kony Visualizer,
leveraging Free Form Architecture for flexible and scalable app design.
Build and manage backend services using Kony MobileFabric, including service orchestration, and
implement custom logic using Pre/Post Processors.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective,
high-performing mobile solutions.
Integrate backend systems using technologies such as Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and SOAP/RESTful
web services.
Utilize Android Studio and Eclipse to test, debug, and deploy hybrid and native application components.
Design efficient database schemas and queries using Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar enterprise
databases.
Provide mentorship and technical oversight to junior developers; conduct code reviews and ensure
adherence to development best practices.
Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and production
deployment.
Maintain and enhance legacy hybrid functionality using Apache Cordova, demonstrating adaptability
with older mobile frameworks.
Ensure mobile applications comply with industry security, performance, and regulatory standards,
especially in banking environments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of total software development experience, including 10+ years in mobile
development and 9+ years specifically on the Kony/Temenos platform.
Strong hands-on expertise in Kony Visualizer and Kony MobileFabric for developing enterprise-grade
mobile applications.
In-depth experience with Java, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and service integration using SOAP/REST APIs.
Proficiency in Android development tools and mobile testing/debugging methodologies.
Solid understanding of enterprise databases and performance-optimized SQL development.
Familiarity with Apache Cordova for hybrid mobile development.
Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments, with excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in banking or financial services environments.
Kony/Temenos Quantum certifications.
Knowledge of mobile performance tuning, security best practices, and MDM (Mobile Device
Management) integrations.
