Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $145,000 to $180,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Place of Performance: Chantilly VA
Serve as Senior Cloud Administrator for a classified Intelligence Community Managed Service Provider (MSP) contract that delivers network services to over 400 Industry Partner Subscriber locations. This position delivers System Administration leadership and responsibilities for WWT's MSP infrastructure and service offerings supporting the Government Customer and the Industry Partner locations. Service offerings include cloud-based SECRET and SCI managed desktop offerings delivered by WWT and our partners. The Cloud Administrator will support the day-to-day administrative tasks for on-prem infrastructures and cloud services. Duties and responsibilities involve the administration of this environment, ensuring optimal user experience.
The position will help form the foundation of a new team that will be responsible for supporting multiple clients and customer locations. The candidate is expected to be a solid performer with excellent communication (written & oral), interpersonal skills, and experience in high-performing teams.
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance Needed to start: TS/SCI w/ CI Poly
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Active TOP SECRET SCI security clearance with CI Poly.
- Security+ CE or equivalent to meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in computer programming, science, engineering or a related technical discipline or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the information technology field to include cloud and virtual environments or 7+ years without a technical degree.
- Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare vSphere, and Horizon View and VDI.
- Experience with creating and deploying server and workstation images.
- Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems, Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint, O365.
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS.
- Experience using and writing automation scripting using PowerShell and Ansible
- Experienced with programming language such as Python.
- Understand Public Key Infrastructure
- Understanding of Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker
- Knowledge of Local and Wide Area Networks.
- Experience preparing technical documentation.
Desired:
- Experience with Google Cloud capabilities, including the Google Distributed Cloud.
- Experience with Microsoft Cloud capabilities, including Azure Virtual Desktop.

- Work with engineers to deploy, configure, and manage cloud solutions for the organization.
- Manage user accounts, perform maintenance to ensure uptime of infrastructure.
- Enforcing policy and role-based access control for resources.
- Deploy scripts and workflows in favor of automated solutions.
- Overlook infrastructure, services, and cloud; monitor performance, and optimize environments.
- Provide subject matter expertise on infrastructure toolsets and best practices.
- Monitor availability and system health to ensure uptime of the environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, implement best practices for security, optimization, and stay updated with the latest advancements in technologies.
