Automation Tester

Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Automation Tester with a strong foundation in cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and a passion for infrastructure automation. This role will focus on testing infrastructure-as-code (IaC), automation scripts, and validating cloud-native deployments in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test suites for infrastructure components and IaC (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Validate CI/CD pipelines, cloud provisioning, and automation workflows across AWS or similar cloud environments.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and engineering teams to ensure high-quality infrastructure automation releases.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and resilience testing for cloud-based systems.
- Build reusable test frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Document test plans, results, and defects; contribute to overall quality strategy.
Required Experience:
- 5 7 years in test automation with at least 2+ years in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in test scripting using Python, Shell, or similar.
- Strong understanding of cloud services (EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, Lambda, etc.).
- Experience testing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
- Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to DR testing and cloud failover scenarios.
- Hands-on with test tools like Postman, Pytest, or custom validation frameworks.
- AWS certifications or formal cloud training.
