Role Description: Ensure estimates for repairs and replacement cost are consistent with standard industry averages Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts estimation standards were enforced Most cost effective automobile-part available were selectedAppropriate insurance payouts for repairs were recommendedAppropriate rental cycle time, and Labor rates charged were customers approved labor rates.

Experience (Years): 6-8

Essential Skills: I-CAR certification (must have)Experience in writing estimates in CCC estimating platform (must have)Good understanding of the Automobile Parts, Repair and Replacement assessment. The scope of work will be focused on re-evaluating completed damage estimates for auto claims.US Based P&C Insurance Company - Auto Claims Appraiser Estimator Reinspector skillset for Auto Physical Damage is required to perform these estimate accuracy audits.

Desirable Skills: Auto Appraiser License (good to have)Thorough understanding of vehicle repair, parts costs, total loss classification and fraud detectionAuto damage estimators should preferably have experience as a body shop estimator, an estimator for an independent appraisal firm or as insurance carrier field appraiserShould have ability to write & audit fair and accurate estimates for AutomobilesCars-Sedan, SUV, Trucks using photos of physical damage that comply fully with insurance carrier guidelinesUnderstand auto insurance estimating principles and guidelines Maintain professional written and verbal communication with insurance carriers as well as their customersExcellent written communication skills required for clear and concise documentation of Estimate accuracy audit findings
