Job Description:

 

A manufacturing calibration technician is responsible for ensuring that all equipment and tools used in the manufacturing process are functioning at their optimal level. This includes calibrating, adjusting, and maintaining a wide range of equipment such as scales, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, and more. The technician will also be responsible for documenting calibration procedures and results, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during the calibration process.

Key responsibilities:

- Calibrate and maintain a variety of manufacturing equipment and tools

- Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure equipment accuracy

- Document calibration procedures and results in accordance with company standards

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the calibration process

- Communicate with production teams to schedule calibrations and minimize downtime

- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in calibration techniques

- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve calibration processes and equipment performance

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in calibration or related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing calibration or a similar role

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

- Knowledge of calibration equipment and tools, as well as industry standards and regulations

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes in the manufacturing industry.
