Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our team in Redmond, Washington. This is a contract position requiring a professional with a strong background in Android mobile application development using Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have experience in the full software development lifecycle and a passion for creating high-quality mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Android mobile applications using Kotlin.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of professional, non-internship software development experience.
- Proficiency in Android mobile application development using Kotlin.
- Experience with full software development lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C# with a strong understanding of object-oriented design.
- Experience with AWS is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience in Compose Multiplatform or other cross-platform mobile development is a plus.
- iOS mobile application development experience is a bonus but not required.
