Job Description:
This role is vital for establishing and maintaining comprehensive data governance within the company's Google Cloud environment, focusing on Google Cloud Dataplex and Data Catalog.
The Manager will ensure data quality, security, compliance, and effective utilization to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), specifically Google Cloud Dataplex and Data Catalog.
- Thorough understanding of core data governance principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of database systems, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling principles.
- Expertise in SQL.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in the energy or pipeline industry.
- Relevant professional certifications in data governance or Google Cloud technologies.
- Experience in project management methodologies.
