We have a 6 month contract opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst . This role is fully remote but must work CST business hours.
Job Description:
- Conduct a comprehensive audit of telephony infrastructure records in ServiceNow.
- Review, validate, and update Asset, Configuration Item (CI), and Application records related to telephony platforms.
- Identify and correct discrepancies between physical infrastructure and ServiceNow records - including missing devices, misclassified assets, retired systems, or orphaned records.
- Coordinate with telephony engineers and Managed Service Provider to confirm field-level details, physical inventory, and logical configuration data.
- Retire or archive assets and CIs that are no longer in use, per established lifecycle policies.
- Update or create application entries to reflect systems actively used in the telephony environment.
- Ensure all ServiceNow records comply with internal naming conventions, ownership fields, site/location references, and service relationships.
- Participate in data cleanup projects and periodic audits as needed.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly in:
- Asset Management
- CMDB / Configuration Items
- Application Portfolio Management (APM)
- Understanding of telephony infrastructure (e.g., PBX systems, gateways, VoIP components).
- Ability to read, interpret, and validate telephony records such as IP addresses, MAC addresses, device types, models, and location assignments.
- Experience reconciling real-world equipment with digital records in enterprise environments.
- High attention to detail and comfort working with structured data.Job Description:
