Job Description:
Overall Purpose: Responsible for analyzing and engineering data and instrumentation in response to new business requests, performing maintenance and changes on interfaces, and identifying and resolving data discrepancies across multiple business applications. Review, troubleshoot, engineer, and analyze digital (website and app) datastreams using SQL (and Python), and various metric and analytics tools to ensure data is stable, reliable, and stable and can be used by other analysts to optimize business results and user experience.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Engineering: Works directly with the client user community and business analysts to define and document data and instrumentation requirements for data integration and business intelligence applications. Determines and documents data mapping rules for movement of medium to high complexity data between applications. Adheres to and promotes the use of data administration standards. Supports data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts. Creates and sustains processes, tools, and on-going support structures and processes. Extracts and analyzes data from specific applications, systems and/or databases to create reports and provide recommendations based on the analysis of the data. Investigates and resolves data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies of definition, format and function. Creates and populates meta-data into repositories. May create data models, including robust data definitions, which may be entity- relationship-attribute models, star, or dimensional models. May also create data flow diagrams and process models and integrates models across functional areas and platforms. Works closely with DBAs to transition logical models to physical implementation. May be responsible for employing data mining techniques to achieve data synchronization, redundancy elimination, source identification, data reconciliation, and problem root cause analysis. May also be responsible for quality control and auditing of databases, resolving data problems, and analyzing system changes for quality assurance. Dashboarding: Create dashboards and scorecards to communicate actual performance towards vendor goals and corporate finance plan of record. Create dashboards and reports in Adobe Analytics, Tableau, PowerBI, and Snowflake Analytics: Interprets web analytics data to develop key insights and recommendations for the ATT.Com Marketing and Operations teams. Oversee the impact data and ensure the quality of the vendor supplied data. Analyze quantitative data gathered with software measurement tools, traffic extracts, click streams and drill-downs to develop an understanding of customer behavior, demographics and life cycle. Applies statistics based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations. Possesses an understanding of sales and service operations of the business such as ecommerce, chat, automation, cross-channel analytical skills for call center, Online Traffic and Retail Stores data.
Work Schedule: This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered
