Become part of our team as an Electrical Engineering Professional who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients' business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects, including semiconductor manufacturing and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. This is a hybrid position in Portland, Oregon, however, qualified candidates in the U.S will also be considered.

As an Electrical Engineering Professional, you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule for assigned tasks. You will effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly, provide assistance during startup, and coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plans.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • At least 6 years of engineering experience of building electrical systems
  • At least 2 years of electrical design experience for semiconductor, data center, or mission critical facilities
  • Experience with power system software, preferably ETAP
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC) & IEEE standards
  • Understanding of electrical power system equipment/components, such as Switchgears, transformers, panelboards, generators, UPS, etc.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams

Ideally, you'll also have:
  • Medium Voltage (MV) design experience
  • Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team leadership and client interaction experience

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
