Job Details
TITLE- Systems Engineer with Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems Experience
LOCATION- South Florida Local Only Onsite Role
DURATION- 18 months

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage system upgrades, application lifecycle, and technical remediation for PACS/RIS platforms
- Serve as SME for imaging systems, ensuring optimal performance and integration
- Collaborate with radiologists, IT, and clinical teams to enhance imaging workflows
- Analyze and document business requirements and system configurations
- Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for PACS/RIS systems
- Coordinate with vendors for feature implementation and issue resolution
- Develop and maintain SOPs and training materials
REQUIRED/MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 7+ years of IT experience with strong technical foundation in systems engineering, Windows Server, Linux, and storage/network infrastructure in large enterprise environments
- Networking proficiency (firewalls, routing, VLANs, IOPS) – CCNA-level knowledge preferred
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical issues using logical, methodical approaches
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems (Philips IntelliSpace, Sectra, Siemens Single Plaza, Change Healthcare) and DICOM/HL7 standards
- Experience with VNA architecture, DICOM routing, and integration with imaging modalities and dictation systems (e.g., PowerScribe)
- Basic scripting or development experience (.NET or similar) for automation and integration tasks
- Strong customer service and communication skills, capable of high-touch support for radiologists and clinical staff
