Job Details

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead and coordinate several high-impact IT initiatives over the course of a 6-month engagement. This contractor will report to IT leadership and work cross-functionally with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to drive project execution, ensure alignment, and maintain momentum on a variety of digital transformation efforts. Per the client, this is a 5 days on-site role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Desk Outsourcing:
    Partner with a selected implementation provider to oversee the transition of the internal IT service desk to an outsourced model. Ensure timelines, SLAs, and quality standards are met throughout the process.
  • IT Department Reorganization:
    Support IT leadership in planning and executing a department reorganization, including structure analysis, role clarification, and communications.
  • Identity Access Management (IAM):
    Contribute to the development and rollout of a new IAM methodology by coordinating requirements, milestones, and internal stakeholder alignment.
  • Change Management Coordination:
    Liaise with internal Communications to ensure strategic, clear, and consistent messaging related to IT changes. Support change management planning and delivery.
  • ITSM Tool Redesign:
    Assist in redesigning the client's IT Service Management (ITSM) platform to better align with business needs and IT workflows.
  • Super User Network Development:
    Help build and structure a "Super User Network" of internal power users to support adoption, feedback loops, and peer support across the organization.
  • Self-Service Tech Implementation:
    Provide project oversight and coordination on self-service tools such as AI/chatbot platforms aimed at improving end-user IT support experiences.


Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in enterprise IT environments
  • Strong experience managing outsourced IT initiatives and vendor relationships
  • Familiarity with IAM solutions and ITSM platforms
  • Understanding of organizational change management best practices
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate across departments and levels
  • PMP certification or similar project management training a plus
  • Experience with self-service technologies, AI/chatbots, or automation tools is a strong asset.
