Job Title: Organizational Change Manager (Contract)
Client: Leading Retail Organization 
Location: Hybrid – Cincinnati Preferred (Strong Remote Candidates Considered)
Contract Type: W2 Contract
Pay: $60-65/hr 


Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Manager to support a large-scale digital transformation initiative for a leading retail enterprise. This role will focus on driving change adoption for an Enterprise AI Factory program by embedding structured change management practices across teams and projects. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in both change and project management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute the client’s Organizational Change Management (OCM) Framework to manage the people side of change.

  • Integrate change management and training strategies into project plans across multiple workstreams.

  • Conduct organizational readiness assessments and effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive change management strategies and plans, including:

    • Communication plans

    • Sponsor roadmaps

    • Coaching and training strategies

    • Resistance management plans

  • Support and coach front-line managers and leaders through change transitions.

  • Design and deliver both formal and informal training sessions and supporting materials.

  • Collaborate with 15+ teams within a broader enterprise program.

  • Provide day-to-day OCM support while working directly with the program lead in a support-oriented leadership capacity.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, Change Guide, or LaMarsh) – required.

  • Demonstrated experience with change management frameworks and tools.

  • Strong project management capabilities and organizational skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and drive adoption.

  • Experience creating and executing training and communication materials in large-scale enterprise environments.


Preferred/Bonus Experience:

  • Familiarity with AI-related transformation initiatives.

  • Background in large retail or enterprise-scale programs.
