Description:
Senior Integration Engineer

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions. Leveraging your deep knowledge of integration technologies and best practices, you'll ensure seamless connectivity across various systems. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications:

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Implementation:
    • Create technical requirements and process flows for development, infrastructure, and support teams.
    • Implement integration plans, investigating and selecting appropriate solutions.
    • Maintain a catalog of existing integrations, including MuleSoft and other non-Mule-related integrations.
    • Assist with integration designs, understanding requirements, and collaborating with consultants.
  2. Engineering Leadership:
    • Oversee all Integration Services engineering processes.
    • Define the integration reference architecture for Retail Banking technology solutions.
    • Provide guidance to feature teams on effective use of integration technologies.
  3. Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in API, HTTP, and SOAP protocols.
    • Experience with JSON structure, XML transformations, and database/SQL.
    • Familiarity with Digibee (preferred).
    • Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.
  4. Integration Expertise:
    • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining integration solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise systems.
    • Deep understanding of integration architecture principles, data modeling, storage, security, and data management practices.
    • Ability to define, capture, and document metadata and ETL rules.
    • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining integration applications.
  5. Performance Analysis:
    • Analyze pipeline performance using relevant metrics.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with experience in Enterprise Integration.
  • 5+ years of total IT experience.
  • Ability to specify and document requirements.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Programming skills (Java preferred).

Preferred Experience:
  • Development experience with integration platforms such as Mulesoft, Celigo, GoAnywhere, Informatica, Workato, Boomi, AIS, or similar low-code tools.
  • EDI experience is a plus.
  • Facilitation of prototyping sessions with end users and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of both traditional and cloud-based/hybrid integration tools.
  • Familiarity with EDI and SFTP tools.
