Duration: 6- Months
Location : Richmond, VA (Hybrid)
Job Description: IT Security Analyst
Seeking a highly motivated IT Security Analyst to support cybersecurity operations within the Operations Technology (OT) environment, with a specific focus on the integration and monitoring of the Tolling Division s systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor tolling infrastructure security alerts using SIEM and monitoring tools.
- Investigate and triage potential security incidents involving tolling systems and devices.
- Coordinate incident response, forensics, and remediation with internal teams and vendors.
- Onboard tolling systems into OT cybersecurity monitoring (inventory, logging, baselines).
- Conduct security assessments for vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance with standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, NIST 800-82).
- Support tolling infrastructure integration into OT cybersecurity tools (e.g., vulnerability management, EDR, asset and access controls).
- Develop and maintain incident response procedures and tolling-specific playbooks.
- Provide regular reports, dashboards, and security metrics for tolling systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve the security posture of tolling environments.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years in cybersecurity, including 1+ year in OT, ICS/SCADA, or critical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools, log analysis, and incident response.
- Knowledge of networking, system hardening, and asset inventory.
- Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with tolling systems, traffic infrastructure, or roadside equipment.
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-82, or CIS Controls.
- Certifications: GICSP, GCIA, CompTIA Security+, CISSP.
- Experience working with vendors in mixed state/vendor-managed environments.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
