About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, modeling, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record of working in large enterprise environments, preferably with prior experience. This role requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to translate data insights into strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Perform data validation, cleansing, and transformation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Utilize advanced SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
- Support quantitative and statistical analysis for business forecasting and risk assessment.
- Document methodologies, data dictionaries, and analysis processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or SAS for data processing and advanced analytics.
- Expertise in Excel and familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Must have prior experience working with or supporting projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Background in financial services, mortgage, or related industries.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
