5 Days onsite in Piscataway, NJ.

Title: Java Full Stack Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and govern the technical architecture for full-stack enterprise platforms using Java,

Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices

  • Lead the end-to-end solution design, including orchestration layers, integration frameworks,

and mapping logic

  • Architect and implement multi-tenant, cloud-native solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and

containerization

  • Drive solution architecture for implementation of Intellect Insurance product suite.
  • Design and optimize BPMN workflows and business rules using JBPM and Drools
  • Ensure security and compliance through OAuth2, SSO, and role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Oversee deployment pipelines with CI/CD automation via Jenkins, GitHub, and Helm/YAML
  • Work closely with DevOps to ensure system observability using Datadog, CloudWatch, and

Kibana

  • Ensure that architecture and implementation adhere to Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs),

including scalability, reliability, security, and performance.

  • Guide the development of Single Page Applications (SPAs) with frameworks like Angular or

React

  • Integrate Generative AI capabilities using Python and large language models (LLMs) such as

OpenAI s GPT, embedding intelligent automation into business workflows

  • Own overall delivery planning and execution, ensuring timely completion of milestones, quality

standards, and stakeholder alignment across all project phases

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, managing expectations, facilitating

solution discussions, and translating business needs into actionable architecture

  • Lead Sprint 0 activities, including architectural blueprinting, backlog scoping, estimation, tech

stack finalization, and environment readiness for successful Agile delivery kickoff

  • Interface with product management and engineering delivery teams, with the primary task of

translating business needs into actionable, engineering-facing requirements

  • Partner effectively with all levels of organization, provide product architectural expertise across

multiple products and their technologies

  • Mentor engineering teams, enforce best practices, and resolve technical bottlenecks in

collaboration with cross-functional groups

  • Collaborate with onshore/offshore Delivery, Engineering and Product Development teams

during engagements as well as during development and implementation

  • Provide leadership during production incidents and ensure smooth release cycles and post-

release support

  • Participate in customer technology workshops and recommend them on solutions

 

 

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 4 years in a technical

architecture or solution design role

  • Strong command of Java, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices
  • Frontend architecture experience using Angular, React, or Vue.js
  • In-depth experience with JBPM, Drools, and business rule engines
  • Expertise in AWS services S3, Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, IAM, EC2, Cloudfronts Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, YAML configuration, and cloud-native deployment models
  • Deep knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
  • Understanding of integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and message brokers like

Apache MQ, Kafka

  • Solid grasp of CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code
  • Experience working with low-code/no-code platforms, enabling rapid prototyping and

extensibility within enterprise architecture

  • Enterprise system integration experience
  • Exposure on PAS, DMS/CMS, CRM, AIM/AMS, DWH, Billing and Claims Systems
  • Product development and implementation experience across GEOs/ Carriers / Products / LOBs
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI-powered development platforms like Cursor AI to accelerate

solution design and delivery

  • Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures, NFRs, and SPA performance optimization
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing capabilities

Preferred Skills / Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AI/ML platforms, LLM integrations, and Python-based orchestration
  • Familiarity with Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows
  • Strong insurance domain knowledge (Commercial and Specialty Lines) and ACORD/ ISO

Standards of Insurance

  • Certifications in AWS, Kubernetes (CKA), or Java.
