SASE Engineer Architect (Hands-on)

Summary: The SASE Security Engineer will be responsible for translating existing security policy into the SASE solution. This includes working within the existing client tool base (Firewalls / VPN / DLP / CASB) solutions to understand existing use cases and policy, then to advise and create the new SASE based policy and configuration. In addition, the role will focus on collaboration in working with internal teams to ensure that the SASE configuration is properly implemented and configured for end users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SASE / SSE technologies, as well as experience in enterprise network security with hands on deployment / implementation background.
Responsibilities:

• Review existing VPN policy / user groups / tagging / log files to then create new configuration within SASE (ZTNA solution).
• Review existing firewall policy / configuration / logs to then create new SASE SWG and URL configurations.
• Review and troubleshoot SASE logging to ensure user access is enabled via ZTNA and SWG policy.
• Review existing DLP policy for regex-based rules, taking these rules and mapping to new SASE based DLP policy.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in cyber security architecture and implementation
• Experience with SASE / SSE technologies, such as Zscaler, Netskope, Axis Security, Palo Alto Networks
  • Including specific domain experience with DLP / CASB / ZeroTrust / VPN / SWG
• Experience with Network firewall and VPN technologies, such as Fortinet / Cisco / CheckPoint / Juniper / Palo Alto Networks.
