Job Details
Position: Test Technician / Engineer Autonomous Driving Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite only) Type: 12-Month Contract
Important Notes:
- Must work onsite in Santa Clara, CA
- The candidate must not have been submitted to NVIDIA in the past 6 months
What We re Looking For:
A highly motivated and experienced Test Technician or Engineer with ADAS, Level 3 (L3) autonomous systems, and triage experience. This role involves in-car testing and close collaboration with software engineering teams to validate NVIDIA s autonomous vehicle software stack.
Core Responsibilities:
- Execute testing, validation, and quality assurance of AV and ADAS features
- Perform in-car testing and document detailed results
- Assist with code integration and issue triage
- Create and maintain test procedures and plans
- Log and manage issues in JIRA
- Coordinate testing logistics with operations teams
- Work cross-functionally to monitor product health and triage efficiently
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with automotive system testing or similar robotics
- Proven ability to build test plans, execute cases, and report detailed findings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-driven with problem-solving mindset
- Must have a valid driver s license
- Comfortable working onsite daily
- Quick to learn new tools and tech-savvy
Bonus Points For:
- Experience at an automotive OEM or Tier-1 supplier
- In-depth knowledge of ADAS and autonomous vehicle systems
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Computer Engineering
- Any programming/scripting experience
