Job Title: Accounting Clerk Location: Miramar, FL
The Accounting Clerk will support the Controller and collaborate with multiple departments, including warehouse, accounting, commercial operations, and pricing. This role focuses on validating, processing, and maintaining purchase orders, tax filings, and accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Validate daily receiving after audit, including removing POs/items from shipments as needed.
Validate, update, and review Receiving Log (multiple POs and No Codes).
Add items to existing purchase orders; request new POs and maintain audit trail documentation.
Manage No Code List and PO update process.
Review and prepare purchase orders for samples received into the distribution center.
Process product transfer invoices and prepare tax documentation.
- Process billing for keg returns, deferred taxes, stop charges, and product buy-ins.
Maintain and process resale certificates.
Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Preferred Education & Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required.
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (or equivalent formal education).
