Job Details
Role: Python Data Engineer
Location: Houston, TX 77002 (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Duration: 12+ month contract (possible extension)
Requirements:
-
3 5 years Python experience; strong SQL skills

Experience with FastAPI, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools

Automated testing & test-driven development
-
Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, VS Code, GitHub Copilot

Experience with both on-prem SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, DB2) and NoSQL databases

Knowledge of ETL and data warehousing

Ability to explain business functionality of past projects

Cloud experience optional; AWSS/Azure only not a fit

Able to multitask across multiple projects
