Job Details

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience as a JDE Business Systems Analyst or functional consultant with broad, general knowledge of the JDE platform.
  • Deep expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, specifically with version 9.2 and strong functional knowledge of the Financials and Human Resources modules. This isn't a learning role you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, effectively managing project priorities, and coordinate development/support efforts with external vendors.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process documentation, and developing test scripts for large-scale ERP systems.
  • Configuration experience within JDE is highly desirable, particularly with setting up new modules or performing security clean-up.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • System Ownership: Operate as the day-to-day system owner and Business Systems Analyst for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2, focusing heavily on the Financials and Human Resources modules.
  • Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison and coordinator with third-party vendors for system changes, development, and support, effectively translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • System Readiness: Update processes, refine test scripts, and perform necessary clean-up (including security role management) to prepare the JDE environment for a planned upgrade in 2027.
  • Requirements Gathering: Proactively engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements for new features, process improvements, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Open Enrollment).
  • We would also consider a candidate with the following experience as just a 12 month contract: Lead the implementation of new modules, including setting up the Fixed and Mobile Equipment Management module from scratch to manage all company equipment. This role doesn't need to be onsite.
